HOW MUCH IS THE DEPOSIT TO SECURE MY DATE AND HOW LONG DO I HAVE TO
PAY OFF MY BALANCE?
There is a non-refundable $200 deposit to secure your date and a signed contract. The
deposit is non-refundable because we stop accepting weddings on that date once it's booked and if
you cancel your date, we have lost potential customers. Your remaining balance is to be paid in full
no later than 30 days before your wedding date unless otherwise specified.
WHEN WILL I RECEIVE MY WEDDING ALBUM AND, IF PURCHASED, MY DISK OF
ALL MY WEDDING PHOTOS?
All wedding albums and disks are received no more than three (3) weeks after your wedding date.
WHAT PAYMENT OPTIONS DO YOU ACCEPT?
We accept cash and credit only. Debit and credit card payments are also accepted via PayPal. All
PayPal payments are to be sent to trenice@platinumgraphics.org.
DO YOU TAKE PHOTOS OF THE BRIDE GETTING DRESSED AND PREPARED FOR
THE CEREMONY?
Yes, we do. If the bride is getting dressed in the same place as her wedding/reception and it is
within the 6 hour time limit, there is no additional cost. If the bride is getting dressed in a different
place from her wedding/reception, there is an additional cost of $125.00. This price covers taking
photos for an hour and a half.
WILL YOU TRAVEL AND IS THERE A TRAVELLING FEE?
Yes. Travelling fees are applied to locations outside the New Orleans Area. We charge $1 per mile
back and forth. Lodging fees depend on the wedding time and location. We prefer to drive
because air travel has many security issues and it is not as reliable as it used to be. Please contact
us for more information.
WILL I BE ABLE TO MEET MY PHOTOGRAPHER BEFORE MY WEDDING?
Yes, if you make an appointment to pay your deposit and sign the contract, you will meet your
photographer in person. The photographer will also be at your rehearsal to find out the ins and
outs of the location as well as the way the ceremony will play out.
HOW MANY PHOTOGRAPHERS WILL BE AT MY WEDDING?
We use just one photographer that covers every part of your wedding alone. The photographer is
excellent and we guarantee your complete satisfaction.
HOW MUCH TIME WILL THE PHOTOGRAPHER SPEND AT MY WEDDING?
Our maximum time is 6 hours for the $600. If you would like us there for additional time, the cost
is $50 per hour.
DO I HAVE TO VIEW MY PHOTOS ONLINE BEFORE I RECEIVE MY WEDDING
ALBUM OR TO ORDER KEEPSAKE PHOTOS.
No. We place your best photos in your wedding album. All the photos that we've taken can be
placed on a disk for an additional fee of $50. You can print your own keepsake photos for family
and friends on your own or you can come back to us and have us do it for you for $10 per sheet.
It's your choice.
DO YOU PROVIDE VIDEOGRAPHY?
Not at this present time. We do give the bride and groom a choice to have a pictorial DVD made for
$50. This price includes a maximum of 30 wedding photos and up to 3 of the couples' favorite
songs. Additional photos are $1 each. There is the 20th Century Fox logo and theme music in the
beginning and credits that the couple chooses at the end. For a pictorial DVD sample, please
contact us via email.
HOW LONG DO YOU HOLD ON TO MY WEDDING PHOTOS?
We keep your wedding photos and album on file for one year after your wedding date. To request
that we keep your memories for more than a year, there is an additional fee depending upon how
long you want us to hold it. If you are ever in need of another disk of your photos, they are $50
each and extra wedding albums are $60 each.
I WANT TO MAKE COPIES OF MY PHOTOS. DOES MY PHOTOGRAPHER OWN THE
COPYRIGHT AND DO I HAVE TO PAY THE PHOTOGRAPHER IF I MAKE THE
COPIES MYSELF?
No and no. Once we turn the wedding album and, if purchased, the disk over to the couple, they
have the right to do whatever they choose with the photos. The only thing that we do in exchange
for that privilege is place the couples' wedding album on this website
(www.platinumgraphics.org/WEDDINGS) and Slide's website (www.slide.com), where potential
clients can preview our previous work and see the versatility. We also place the bride's email
address on our reference page for potential brides to find out their experience with us.
WHAT IF THE PLACE WHERE MY WEDDING WILL BE HELD SAYS THAT A CAMERA
FLASH CANNOT BE USED?
When a flash cannot be used, the photographs will come out dark and sometimes blurry. In the
event that a flash in not permitted, we are not responsible for the quality of the photos.
HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN DOING PHOTOGRAPHY?
We have been doing photography for over 15 years. We print our own photos and do all of our own
graphics. We can not guarantee someone else will do good work, but we can guarantee that we will.
That's why everything is done right here at Platinum Graphics.
